Q: Where are you located?

A:  Our home base is located right behind the Cricket Club on Bay Street (just across from “The Fish Fry”) about one mile west of downtown Nassau on Bay Street. 
Q: How do I make reservations?
A: To reserve space you can use the inquiry form on this website, call us at either 242.376.6809 or 242.424.7696 or email us at nassau@segwayintl.com and we will work with you to schedule your tour. A 20% deposit is required at the time the reservation is made.
Q: What about transportation to the tour?
A: We provide free shuttle service to and from the tour from the hotels within Nassau, Cable Beach and Paradise Island. Please contact us regarding transportation from other locations.
Q: What is the cost of tour?
A: The cost is $75.00 USD per guest. 
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Cash, Visa, and MasterCard. 
Q: Cancellations/Refunds and No Show Policy?
A: We will refund your deposit in full if you contact us by phone either 242.376.6809 or 242.424.7696 or email us at nassau@segwayintl.com at least 48 hours prior to your reserved tour departure time. Reservations cancelled by email must receive and reply to a CONFIRMATION OF CANCELLATION email that we will send to you after we receive your cancelation request Reservations may not be cancelled less than 48 hours prior to your reserved tour departure time without charge. All No Shows will be charged in full.
Q: How do I learn to ride a Segway PT?
A We provide a brief, but thorough orientation that will explain all aspects of operating the Segway, after that you receive individual on-Segway training and then you spend some additional time riding the Segway in our training area until you are comfortable with operating the Segway on your own. Young and old alike are surprised at how easily they learn to operate a Segway.
Q: What are the tour requirements?
A:      • Must be at least 10 years old.
         • Weigh between 80-280lbs.
         • Sign a waiver (for guests under 15 – the waiver must be signed by accompanying           
                  parent or guardian, for guests between 16 and 18 – the waiver must be signed by
                  parent or guardian).
         • Satisfactorily complete the Segway Training with an instructor.
         • Show understanding and willingness to comply with your tour guides instructions.
         • Participants must wear a helmet and elbow and knee pads (provided). 
Q: Are the Segways safe for children or people with disabilities?
A: Tour participants must have the ability to be able to stand for the period of time the tour will last, with short breaks en route, and be able to step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail. Some physical and mobility issues (and mobility diseases) preclude riding safely. You may call to discuss.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Dress appropriately for the weather. Closed toed shoes, rather than sandals or flip flops are recommended, but not required. Sunscreen is also a good idea.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Our tours run rain or shine. We have ponchos available for anyone that needs them in our office.
Q: Pregnant?
A: Congratulations! However, safety on the Segway is our #1 concern and for obvious reasons, women who are pregnant are NOT permitted to glide.
Q: Alcohol or Drugs?
A: We reserve the right to refuse any rider we suspect is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Q: What about parking?
A: There is plenty of parking right next to our tour facility.
Q: Do you offer Segway rentals?
A: No, for safety reasons we only offer guided tours
Q: Is tipping appropriate?
A: Tipping your guide is at your discretion. Guides greatly appreciate any gratuities as they make every effort to ensure your comfort, inform you of points of interest, instruct you on the best methods of using and handling the Segway in your control, and to be at your service should you need extra assistance - someone to snap a photo or additional information about recommended restaurants and other attractions.  If you believe your guide has provided excellent service then feel free to show your appreciation.
